The Danish Conference of Sociology 2012 will be held at the University of Aarhus. Aarhus University is the second-oldest and second-largest university in Denmark. Most of the university´s yellow-brick buildings are located on our picturesque campus, which is situated in a hilly area, with a moraine valley full of large oak trees and a stream that flows into two small lakes.

Søauditorierne ('The Lakeside Lecture Theaters') and the Department of Political Science will provide the main physical surroundings. They are both situated in the center of campus and within walking distance of one another.
