Troubled identities, such is the premise of this conference, signifies the simultaneous effect of this loss of social foundations and the emergence of a multiplicity of new forms of identification available to the subject.

Welcome to the Danish Conference of Sociology 2012

On behalf of Center for Sociological Studies, Aarhus University (CESAU) and The Danish Sociological Association we hereby invite all interested parties to the Danish Conference of Sociology 2012.

The conference will be held at Aarhus University on the 19 and 20 of January 2012.

The overall theme of the conference is Troubled Identities whereby we wish to highlight the is the simultaneous effect of a loss of social foundations and the emergence of a multiplicity of new forms of identification available to the subject.

Dinner banquet closed for registration

The dinne banquet at the Aarhus Museum of Art is closed for registration, due to an extraordinary level of participation. Registration to the academic part of the conference is still welcomed here
